Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking an Inspector to inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems in accordance with NFPA codes. The role involves independent work, recordkeeping, and collaboration with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities include on-site inspections, on-call support, equipment maintenance, safety compliance, and mentoring inspector trainees as needed. A HS Diploma and NICET/state certification are preferred, with 3–5 years of field experience.

Qualifications

• NICET and/or state certification preferred depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain fire protection systems per NFPA codes.
• Record deficiencies and report to SFS and customers.
