Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Fire Protection Trade Manager to lead field installation teams for new construction projects in the Richmond, VA area. The role requires hands-on supervision of fire protection crews to ensure installations meet design specifications, codes, and project schedules.

The candidate will mentor foremen, fitters, mechanics, and apprentices, promote safety, and coordinate with the construction team to resolve issues and maintain progress across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 10 years of commercial fire protection supervision experience.
• Hands-on fire protection trade work or equivalent.
• Proficiency in fire protection field supervision and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fire protection field manpower to ensure construction aligns with design, budget, and schedule.
• Oversee day-to-day fire protection field personnel across multiple jobs to maintain quality and productivity.
• Document changes and communicate issues to the team during planning and build phases.
• Ensure proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed by field staff.
• Oversee interviewing, hiring, and training of fire protection employees; plan, assign, and direct work; evaluate performance.
