Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. seeks a Fire Protection Trade Manager to lead field installation efforts for New Construction projects in the Greater Richmond area.

You will mentor foremen, fitters, mechanics, and apprentices to ensure safety, quality, and productivity while aligning with design documents, codes, and project schedules. The role requires hands-on supervision, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple sites with a focus on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• 10 years of commercial fire protection supervision and 10 years of hands on fire protection trade work

Responsibilities

• Oversee fire protection field manpower to ensure construction practices meet design, budget, and schedule
• Oversee day-to-day fire protection field personnel ensuring quality and productivity
• Document changes and relay them to team; act as leader and mentor
• Communicate with Construction team on issues and progress during planning and build phases
• Maintain and enforce safety and incident reporting procedures
• Supervise interviewing, hiring, training, and performance management of field staff; coordinate work assignments
