Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Fire Protection Trade Manager to lead field installation activities for commercial projects in the Richmond area. You will supervise field personnel, mentor crews, and ensure that installations meet design, code, and safety requirements.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, safety commitment, and coordination with project teams across sites, with mobility to travel between jobs and oversee diverse fire protection systems.

Qualifications

• Ten years of commercial fire protection supervision plus ten years of hands-on fire protection trade work or equivalent.
• Proficiency in field supervision and safety procedures.
• Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision and strong problem-solving skills.
• Clean driving record and willingness to travel to multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fire protection field manpower to meet design, budget, and schedule.
• Mentor foreman, fitters, mechanics, and apprentices with instruction and feedback.
• Ensure safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
• Coordinate with Construction team on issues and progress.
• Maintain department standards and documentation.
• Hire, train, and evaluate fire protection staff; manage performance.
• Ensure compliance with company, client, and project policies.
• Guide planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as needed.
