Job summary

Arcadis U.S. Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Fire Protection Engineer with a strong data center and industrial background to lead the fire protection discipline across multiple projects in the U.S. Places Design & Engineering.

You will collaborate with MEP teams and clients to deliver reliable, code-compliant systems and drive proposal activity. Travel to project sites (approx. 1 week per month) will be required to support client engagement, site assessments, and project delivery while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Fire Protection Engineering or related field.
• US PE license in Fire Protection required.
• Experience designing fire protection for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA standards and high-availability design.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire protection design for data center and mission-critical facilities.
• Develop construction-ready design packages (drawings, specs, BIM models).
• Mentor junior engineers and designers.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and architectural teams.
• Support business development with proposals, estimates, and client engagement.
• Conduct site assessments and fire protection studies for data centers.
