Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Senior Fire Protection Engineer with a strong background in data centers and industrial environments to support our U.S. Places Design & Engineering business.

You will lead the fire protection discipline across multiple projects, guiding from pursuit through construction administration while collaborating with Mechanical, Electrical, Architects and clients. Periodic travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related.
• PE license in Fire Protection (U.S.) required.
• Experience designing fire protection for data centers or mission-critical facilities.
• NFPA knowledge: NFPA 13, 20, 22, 24, 72, 75, 76.

Responsibilities

• Lead fire protection design for data center and mission-critical facilities.
• Develop construction-ready design packages with drawings, specs, BIM.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor junior staff.
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical, and architectural teams.
• Support business development including proposals and cost estimates.
• Perform site assessments and fire protection studies for data centers.
• Utilize tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, HydraCAD, Aspire.
• Maintain strong client relationships as a technical advisor.
