Job summary

MX is seeking a Solutions Architect in Lehi, UT to design scalable, customer-focused architectures that help financial institutions deliver smarter digital experiences. You will partner closely with sales, product, and engineering to shape how MX’s platform is implemented and scaled.

This role requires deep technical depth, business context, and the ability to guide customers toward practical, performant solutions while driving long-term success for MX and its partners.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in solutions architecture or related customer-facing tech roles.
• 5+ years designing cloud-based architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP) and distributed systems.
• 4+ years partnering with customers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• 4+ years leading end-to-end solution design including APIs and data flows.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers and stakeholders to understand goals and translate them into scalable, high-impact solutions.
• Design end-to-end architectures across infrastructure, applications, data, and security for performance and maintainability.
• Conduct technical discovery to assess viability, risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs.
• Act as trusted advisor on best practices, patterns, and emerging tech to guide decisions.
• Support pre-sales with technical discussions, demos, and customer confidence building during sales cycles.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and operations to ensure effective implementation and MX standards.
• Create architecture diagrams, design docs, and implementation plans to enable alignment and execution.
• Stay current on industry trends and identify opportunities to improve MX’s technical approach.
