Amazon is seeking an AWS Senior Financial Analyst to join Global Accounts Receivable - Cash Application in Arlington, VA. This role focuses on standardizing processes and delivering upstream system improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy across global sites.

You will analyze cash application workflows, partner with tech teams to introduce AI and automation, train analysts, and own initiatives that reduce manual touches and waste while enhancing scalability and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.
• 3+ years of tax, finance or analytical field experience.
• 3+ years of applying KPIs to analyses.
• 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Standardize Global Processes: Design and implement comprehensive standard operating procedures across multiple sites to ensure consistent, high‑quality financial operations
• Process Optimization: Conduct in-depth analysis of cash application workflows, identifying opportunities for efficiency and implementing strategic improvements
• Technical Collaboration: Partner with technology teams to integrate AI and emerging technologies, reducing manual interventions and enhancing scalability
• Training and Development: Develop robust training infrastructure to support skill development and consistent on‑boarding for cash application analysts
• Problem Resolution: Proactively address escalations, maintain financial integrity, and develop preventative measures to minimize process gaps
