Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Infrastructure Services is seeking a Finance Analyst to own government accounts collections and drive on-time revenue while improving processes. You will leverage data from multiple databases, perform root-cause analysis, and report KPI metrics to leadership across US time zones.

TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required. The role requires clear communication with senior government officials and the ability to create SOPs for key accounts in a fast-paced cloud

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Senior Government Officials in a collections role.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Single point of contact for all collections tasks for AWS strategic Government customers.
• Understand the end-to-end relationship and proactively manage past due balances.
• Create statements of accounts, communication plans, SOPs for specific accounts.
• Report collections metrics on daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Create and share root cause analysis & write documents for dive deep sessions.
• Escalate to senior leadership key issues that could impact collections.
• Deliver on multiple data requests and participate in process improvement workshops.
• Manage highly ambiguous situations and communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
