Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst to join the Central FP&A team in Seattle, WA.

You will design automated Income Statement reporting, surface trends, and drive cost reduction and revenue acceleration initiatives for AWS leadership. You will leverage Amazon QuickSight and other AI tools to consolidate data into executive-ready analyses, while supporting month-end close and strategic reviews.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of quantitative role experience
• 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
• 3+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience

Responsibilities

• Design and build automated reporting for Income Statement results, highlighting trends, outliers, and actionable opportunities for AWS leadership.
• Collaborate with partner finance teams to identify data sources, understand business drivers, and develop KPIs that support cost efficiency and revenue growth across AWS.
• Use Amazon QuickSight and other AI-based tools to model, consolidate, and transform complex data sets into dynamic financial reports and analyses.
• Drive core financial processes including monthly and quarterly business reviews, risk and opportunity assessments, and month-end close activities.
• Audit data for accuracy, identify root causes of discrepancies, and implement process improvements that strengthen financial controls and reporting quality.
