Job summary

Amazon AWS is seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst for its Central FP&A team to transform complex financial data into actionable insights.

You will design automated Income Statement reporting, build dashboards, and surface trends for AWS leadership while supporting cost efficiency and revenue growth across Core and AI businesses. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data storytelling, and automating recurring processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related analytical field; or Bachelor's + 3+ years quantitative role experience.
• 3+ years contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy.
• 3+ years dissecting financial data and identifying patterns to support business strategy.

Responsibilities

• Design and build automated reporting for Income Statement results, highlighting trends and opportunities for AWS leadership.
• Collaborate with partner finance teams to identify data sources and develop KPIs supporting cost efficiency and revenue growth.
• Use QuickSight and AI-based tools to model and consolidate data into dynamic reports for leadership.
• Drive core financial processes including monthly/quarterly business reviews and month-end close.
