Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial support to senior management and logistics leadership. The role involves month-end close, forecasting, variance analysis, and training staff on financial tools.

You will collaborate with operations and sales leadership to identify cost improvements, ensure SOX compliance, and liaise with Shared Services and Corporate Accounting. Strong communication and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field is required.
• MBA preferred for advanced roles.
• 2–4+ years in corporate finance in Fortune 500 or consulting is required.
• 5+ years post-MBA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Month-end closing including journal entries and variance explanations.
• Collaborate with DOO/DOS/DOR to identify cost/productivity improvements.
• Forecasting, planning and branch performance analytics.
• Provide financial training to Business Unit staff on policies and tools.
• Support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and branch audits.
• Act as liaison with Shared Services Center and Corporate Accounting.
