Job summary

Ryder is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support senior financial management, group logistics managers, and logistics managers. The role entails month-end close, forecasting, budgeting, and financial training across business units.

The position involves working with Directors of Operations, Sales, and Rental to identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring SOX compliance. A bachelor's degree is required, with MBA and Fortune 500 experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field required.
• MBA preferred; 5+ years post-MBA preferred.
• 2–4 years in corporate finance within Fortune 500 or consulting desired.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Closing with journal entries and variance explanations.
• Identify cost/productivity opportunities with DOO/DOS/DOR.
• Perform forecasting, planning, and branch performance analysis.
• Provide financial training to BU staff on policies and tools.
• Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance through branch audits as needed.
• Liaise with Shared Services Center and Corporate Accounting.
