Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial and analytical support to Senior Financial Management, Group Logistics Managers, and Logistics Managers.

This role will handle month-end close, FP&A, cost/productivity initiatives, and training across business units while ensuring SOX compliance and collaborating with Ryder's Shared Services Center and Corporate Accounting group. Travel to HQ may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field is required.
• MBA is preferred.
• 2+ to 4+ years in corporate Finance within a Fortune 500 company or consulting firm is required.
• Post-MBA 5+ years is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office at an intermediate level is required.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Closing, including journal entries and variance explanations.
• Identify opportunities for cost/productivity improvements with operations leaders.
• Forecasting, budgeting, and branch performance analysis (FP&A).
• Provide financial training to Business Unit staff on policies and tools.
• Perform Sarbanes-Oxley compliance activities as needed.
• Act as liaison with Shared Services Center and Corporate Accounting.
