Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide financial support to senior management and logistics leaders. The role involves month-end close, forecasting, and performance analysis across multiple business units.

You will partner with operations and sales leaders to identify cost improvements, deliver financial training, and ensure SOX compliance while collaborating with Shared Services and Corporate Accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• MBA preferred.
• 2–4+ years in corporate finance, preferably in a Fortune 500 company or consulting firm.
• Proficiency with MS Office required.

Responsibilities

• Month-end closing, journal entries, and GL research to capture billing opportunities.
• Collaborate with DOO/DOS/DOR to identify cost/productivity improvements.
• Forecasting, business planning, and branch performance analysis.
• Provide financial training to BU staff on policies and tools.
• Support Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and audits as needed.
• Liaise with Shared Services and Corporate Accounting.
