Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to deliver financial support to senior management and logistics leaders. You will perform month-end close, variance analysis, and forecasting to drive cost productivity and operational improvements across the business unit.

You will also train staff on financial tools, ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance, and coordinate with Shared Services and Corporate Accounting to align on reporting and performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Related field, Required.
• MBA, preferred but not required.
• 2+ years in corporate Finance within a Fortune 500 or consulting firm.

Responsibilities

• Month-end close with journal entries and variance explanations.
• Identify cost/productivity improvement opportunities with DOO/DOS/DOR.
• Forecasting, planning and branch performance analysis.
• Provide financial training to Business Unit staff.
• Sarbanes-Oxley compliance through branch audits.
• Coordinate with Shared Services Center and Corporate Accounting.
