Job summary

EY in the United States seeks a Senior, Finance Transformation to lead P&U finance modernization. You will design operating models, drive FP&A, and oversee finance systems and intelligent automation, delivering sustainable value for energy clients.

You will engage with senior leadership, craft business cases, and manage complex transformations across finance functions from regulators and GAAP perspectives, with substantial travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 2–4 years consulting in power & utilities preferred.
• Experience with P&U finance functions and applications such as SAP, Oracle and PowerPlan.
• Ability to develop business cases and digital strategies for finance transformation.
• Knowledge of finance compliance, GAAP, and regulatory considerations.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver finance operating models for Power & Utilities.
• Lead finance process improvements and FP&A initiatives.
• Oversee shared services design and implementation.
• Provide outsourcing advisory and drive automation in finance systems.
• Manage financial close, consolidation and reporting processes.
• Guide cost management, profitability analysis, and procure-to-pay processes.
• Engage with clients, lead sessions, and manage project timelines.
• Travel 60–80% to client sites as needed.
