Job summary
EY in the United States is seeking a Senior Finance Transformation professional to lead and shape finance transformation programs for Power & Utilities clients. You will design operating models, drive financial process improvements, and oversee FP&A, consolidation, and reporting initiatives.
Travel 60-80% to meet client needs, engage with senior leadership, and deliver sustainable value through innovative process design and technology-enabled solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (4-year degree) required.
- Typically 2–4 years relevant experience in consulting and power and utilities industry.
- Experience with P&U finance functions and applications such as SAP, Oracle, and Power Plan.
- Business case development and digital strategy experience.
- Finance compliance and regulation awareness.
- Finance quality, maturity, efficiency & operational risk assessment.
- Finance strategy, operating model and transformation roadmap.
- Finance sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Finance operating model design and optimization.
- Finance processes improvement and act as advisor on shared services design.
- Outsourcing advisory and FP&A responsibilities.
- Finance systems and intelligent automation involvement.
- Financial close, consolidation and reporting processes.
- Cost management and profitability analysis.
- Procure-to-pay and record-to-report processes.
- Asset and project accounting.
