Job summary

OpenGov is seeking a highly analytical Sr. Manager to join the GTM Finance & Strategy team in Boston. You will own critical financial analyses, forecasting, and business reporting across Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing, partnering with GTM leadership to fuel growth.

You will balance rigorous detail with business context, delivering actionable insights and executive-ready communications. This role reports to the Director, GTM Finance & Strategy, and collaborates with the CFO and GTM

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA a plus.
• 5–8+ years of progressive strategic finance experience at a high-growth SaaS company.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ownership mentality; able to handle complex data.
• Strong ability to synthesize analyses into concise, executive-ready presentations.

Responsibilities

• Drive the performance narrative for Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing; link drivers to financial outcomes.
• Forecast topline performance and tie to revenue outcomes; own analytical infrastructure.
• Own end-to-end ARR reporting; collaborate on CPQ data structure and GAAP revenue dynamics.
• Manage GTM spend, headcount, and complex compensation; ensure budget vs. actual accountability.
• Architect and improve financial models, reporting, and forecasting frameworks.
• Lead strategic projects like long-range planning, go-to-market strategy, and market analysis.
• Translate complex analyses into executive-ready findings with high accuracy.
• Mentor and develop a Sr. Analyst; provide clear direction and quality control.
• Build cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Professional Services, RevOps, and CFO office.
