Job summary

dbt Labs in the United States is seeking a Senior Analyst on the GTM Finance team to own revenue models, deliver insights, and partner with Sales and RevOps to drive strategic planning. You will translate sales and operating data into actionable guidance to optimize investments and scale our sales-led GTM motions.

This high-impact role requires analytical rigor in SaaS sales finance, with a hybrid work model featuring two days in the office per week.

Qualifications

3–5 years of FP&A, investment banking, corporate finance, or strategic finance roles.
Deep familiarity with SaaS metrics, revenue forecasting, and GTM operating models.
Expert-level modeling skills (Excel/Sheets) and BI tools experience.
Ability to communicate financial insights clearly to non-finance stakeholders and executives.
Strong executive presence, attention to detail, and a bias toward action.

Responsibilities

Sales Capacity and Productivity: Build and maintain sale capacity models.
Book-of-Business Planning: Analyze revenue planning for renewals, expansion, churn.
Headcount and Investment Planning: Forecast headcount and budget with Sales leaders.
Investment ROI: Evaluate ROI of sales investments using key metrics.
Forecasting and Annual Planning: Support forecasts and long-range plans.
Performance Analysis: Prepare forecast-to-actuals and variance analyses.
Business Partnering: Align with Sales, RevOps, Data, Accounting for decision support.
Executive Reporting: Develop dashboards and presentations for leadership.
