Job summary

Atwell, LLC in Houston, TX seeks a senior Field Technician in Field Services to deliver Engineering Field Services and assist with Engineering Design under the supervision of a Professional Engineer. The role covers testing, start-up, and on-site coordination to meet client budgets and schedules.

Responsibilities include leading field teams, conducting relay, SCADA, and control-system tests, and collaborating with Engineers, Owners, Vendors, and Contractors to ensure quality work and safety

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates preferred.
• 3+ years of Substation Testing Experience.
• NETA II/III or NICET II certifications are preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Professional, articulate, and able to exercise good independent judgement.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment, control system, communications testing, relay testing, start-up, and commissioning services.
• Lead a team across markets and scopes with varying skill levels.
