Job summary

Atwell, LLC seeks a Senior Field Test Technician to lead testing, inspection and commissioning of electrical equipment including substations and datacenters. Work location varies to Arizona, Ohio or Idaho depending on location, with typical four-to-five week on/one week off cycles.

The role requires mentoring junior staff, performing tests, evaluating data and ensuring safety, with strong client communication and project coordination responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong documentation discipline and record keeping.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and teams.
• Ability to work independently in field settings and coach others.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor entry to mid-level staff to perform testing on electrical devices and systems.
• Perform visual, mechanical inspections and electrical testing on electrical equipment and circuits.
• Assist Project Managers with scheduling, budgeting and billing.
