Job summary

Atwell, LLC seeks a Senior Field Test Technician to lead testing, inspection, and commissioning of electrical equipment across substations and datacenters. The work location may be in Arizona, Ohio, or Idaho, with four to five weeks on site followed by a week off.

Responsibilities include performing inspections and electrical testing, mentoring junior staff, coordinating with project managers on scheduling, budgeting and change orders, and ensuring safety and client satisfaction in diverse

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and strong documentation discipline.
• Clear, professional communication with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently in the field while coaching others.

Responsibilities

• Provide training and mentorship to entry to mid-level employees to complete testing on electrical devices and systems.
• Perform visual/mechanical inspections and electrical testing on devices and circuits.
• Oversee scheduling, budgeting and billing with Project Managers.
• Submit Change Order Requests for work beyond scope and ensure safety of personnel.
