Job summary

Atwell, LLC, a bold leader in consulting, engineering, and construction services, seeks a Substation Engineer in the Oil & Gas group. You will perform engineering design and analysis of substation projects for clients in the US and Canada, under the supervision of a Professional Engineer, delivering quality work on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include QA/QC, training junior staff, writing technical documents, phase management, and collaborating with directors and managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/electrical engineering or civil engineering technology from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• US licensure (E) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design and analysis of substation projects for US and Canada clients.
• QA/QC work, training junior engineers and designers, and writing technical documents.
• Phase Manager responsibilities: budget, scope, execution, and technical quality.
• Coordinate with Directors, PMs, and Team Leads on MC&I projects.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to team members.
