Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a Substation Engineer in the Oil & Gas group to perform engineering design and analysis of substation projects for clients in the US and Canada within the industrial sector, under the supervision of a Professional Engineer. You will ensure quality, on-time delivery, and budget adherence across projects.

The role emphasizes QA/QC, mentoring, and development of technical standards, with proficiency in AutoCAD, MathCAD, and MS Office, plus strong written and verbal

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant engineering or field experience.
• Bachelor’s in Civil or Electrical Engineering (or Civil Engineering Technology) from an accredited institution.
• Professional Engineer (US) licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering design and analysis of substation projects for US/Canada clients.
• QA / QC work to ensure quality and accuracy of designs.
• Train junior engineers and designers in substation design and BESS facilities.
• Lead technical scope, schedule, and budget under the Team Lead guidance.
• Prepare calculations, reports, and cost estimates for projects.
• Mentor team members and ensure adherence to standards.
