Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is seeking an Operations - Field Technician to support utility-scale BESS and solar O&M in Uxbridge, MA. You will monitor plant operation via SCADA, perform commissioning, testing, inspection, and troubleshoot AC/DC systems including inverters and switchgear, while maintaining safety standards.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in utility solar O&M, exposure to electrical distribution and SCADA, and a MA Journeyman license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Utility Solar Operations & Maintenance.
• Experience in operating and maintaining power plant electrical systems, SCADA and controls systems operation, troubleshooting advanced electrical components, and using procedures to perform equipment preventative and corrective maintenance preferred.
• Prior Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor PV Plant operation through SCADA; assist commissioning, testing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying AC/DC systems, including inverters, transformers, switchgear, and metering systems.
• Troubleshoot electrical components and perform preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate with site teams; adhere to safety and environmental procedures.
