Job summary

NovaSource Power Services seeks a Utility BESS Technician III for on-site duties in Uxbridge, MA. You will monitor, test and maintain battery energy storage systems and related electrical infrastructure, ensuring safe operations and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 3+ years in renewable energy O&M, SCADA experience and strong safety practices. On-site work, supervisory opportunities, and a path to advanced training are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy Operations & Maintenance.
• Experience in operating and maintaining power plant electrical systems, SCADA and controls systems.
• Prior Supervisory experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate the utility-scale BESS, monitoring via SCADA.
• Commission, test, inspect, troubleshoot and repair BESS components (inverters, batteries, cooling, transformers, switchgear).
• Work on-site in Uxbridge, MA and uphold safety and environmental procedures.
• Assist with maintenance planning, inspections and documentation.
