Electric Power Systems (EPS) is a NETA-accredited independent electric testing and engineering organization specializing in acceptance testing, commissioning, and maintenance across North America. The Senior Field Technician leads crews, manages complex projects, and serves as the primary customer interface with engineering teams to ensure safe, high-quality execution of substations and electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug screen required for safety-sensitive role.
• Criminal background check required and satisfactory.
• Ability to work overtime and travel out of town as needed.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews in testing, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of high, medium, and low voltage equipment.
• Install, test, and maintain electrical apparatus including breakers, transformers, instrument transformers, grounding, batteries, and switchgear.
• Perform root-cause analysis and troubleshoot electrical/control systems to implement corrective actions.
• Analyze test results and validate system performance against specs.
• Consult schematics, manuals, and engineering resources to optimize equipment functionality.
• Direct repair, replacement, and maintenance activities to restore system reliability.
