Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is a NETA-accredited independent electric testing and engineering organization. We support data centers, utilities, renewables, and industrial facilities across North America with acceptance testing, commissioning, and maintenance.

The Senior Field Technician will lead crews, manage complex testing projects, and serve as the primary interface with customers and engineering teams to ensure safe, high-quality execution of substation work and related electrical

Qualifications

Able to pass pre-employment drug screen for safety-sensitive role.
Criminal background check required.
Willing to travel and work overtime as needed.
Valid driver's license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

Lead crews in testing, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of high, medium, and low voltage equipment.
Analyze test results and validate system performance; identify deficiencies.
Develop testing plans, work scopes, and procedures for electrical apparatus and commissioning.
Document testing, maintenance, repairs, and system performance in reports.
Coordinate field activities with engineers, project managers, and customers to meet safety and schedule requirements.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to Field Technician I-III personnel.
