Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is a NETA-accredited independent electrical testing and engineering organization providing acceptance testing, commissioning, and maintenance services for data centers, utilities, renewables, and industrial facilities across North America. This Sr.

Field Technician role leads crews, manages complex testing projects, and serves as the primary interface with customers and engineers.

Qualifications

• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Complete a satisfactory criminal background check.
• Able to work overtime and travel out of town for periods of time.
• Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
• 10+ years relevant industry experience.
• NETA III Certification; NETA IV Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety briefings and enforce PPE usage.
• Direct testing, inspection, maintenance, and commissioning of high, medium, and low voltage electrical equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of electrical/control systems.
• Analyze test results to validate performance and identify deficiencies.
• Coordinate with engineers and project managers to deliver on schedule and quality.
• Train and mentor Field Technician personnel to ensure safe, high-quality work.
• Act as primary field contact for customers and ensure expectations are met.
