Electric Power Systems (EPS) is a NETA-accredited independent electrical testing and engineering firm providing acceptance testing, commissioning, and maintenance across North America. The Field Technician III leads crews, performs advanced testing on substation equipment, and helps ensure safety and efficient project execution.

The role supports engineers and project teams during critical field operations, with opportunities for certification, career development, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment drug screen required due to safety-sensitive role.
• Criminal background check required.
• Overtime and travel out of town may be required.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews and execute advanced testing and maintenance of high, medium, and low voltage equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control system issues using schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Direct repair, replacement, and maintenance activities to restore equipment functionality.
• Support installation and commissioning activities, including functional testing and system verification.
• Review field documentation for accuracy and discrepancy tracking.
• Coordinate daily field activities with engineers and project managers.
• Mentor and train junior technicians on best practices.
