Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to perform on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of ASTRO systems for U.S. Federal Government projects.

You will work with networking, Cyber Security concepts, Active Directory, and LMR communications, supporting a range of core applications. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in IT/networking, strong WAN/LAN knowledge, and the ability to obtain required security clearances.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
• 2+ years experience in IT, networking, technician, field service, system technician/specialist, radio frequency, or land mobile radio.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of Motorola ASTRO systems.
• Maintain, optimize, test and document complex communications systems.
• Provide weekly reports of activities and accomplishments.
• Collaborate with Motorola Solutions customers and internal teams including sales, engineering, and support.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite applications.
