Motorola Solutions in the United States is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician for the US Federal Government Markets Division to support ASTRO system upgrades and troubleshooting on-site and remotely. You will work across networking, cybersecurity, Active Directory, and LMR communications, ensuring reliable performance on complex deployments.

The role requires lifting ~50 lbs, travel up to 75–80%, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in IT, networking, technician, field service, system technician/specialist, radio frequency, or land mobile radio
• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain necessary security clearance
• Willing to travel up to 75–80% domestically and internationally
• Must be able to lift ~50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote upgrades and troubleshooting of Motorola ASTRO systems
• Support networking, cybersecurity principles, Active Directory Administration, and LMR communications
• Maintain, test and document complex communications systems; provide weekly activity reports
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams (sales, engineering, PM, customer support)
