Job summary

UES is seeking a Field Technician III in Las Vegas to conduct advanced field testing and inspections across geotechnical, environmental, and construction projects. You will lead field activities, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with project specifications and OSHA safety standards.

The role requires travel to job sites, strong problem-solving, and the ability to interpret test results and report findings to engineers and clients. Proficiency with MS Office and FDC software is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field-based experience in materials testing or related field.
• ACI Level 1 Concrete Testing certification preferred or obtainable.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety policies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Field Data Collection software.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform field testing on soil, concrete, asphalt, and environmental conditions.
• Lead field activities on assigned projects and coordinate field operations.
• Analyze test results and provide recommendations.
• Mentor and train junior technicians.
• Maintain testing equipment calibration and safety compliance.
• Communicate status and site observations to dispatch and stakeholders.
• Travel to project sites and adhere to safety protocols.
• Maintain company vehicle and schedule maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
