Job summary

UES, a national leader in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, and materials testing, seeks a Field Technician II to perform advanced field and lab testing and conduct on-site inspections. You will ensure projects meet industry standards and regulatory requirements while working outdoors in dynamic environments with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

3+ years of field-based experience in materials testing or inspection.
ACI Level 1 Concrete Testing preferred or ability to obtain within a specified time period.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; ability to safely operate company vehicles.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to document results clearly.

Responsibilities

Perform field testing on soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and other construction materials per specs.
Collect, label, and transport samples to laboratories for analysis; ensure integrity of samples.
Maintain testing equipment and ensure proper functioning; follow safety protocols.
Prepare detailed reports and communicate updates to project managers and stakeholders.
