Job summary

Electric Power Systems is seeking a Field Technician III to lead field teams, perform advanced testing and maintenance on LV/MV/HV equipment, and troubleshoot complex substation systems across North America.

You will coordinate with engineers and project teams, ensure safety policies are followed, and mentor junior technicians while pursuing professional certifications and skill development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or associate degree in Electrical/Electronic technology, or Military experience preferred.
• 5+ Years Relevant Industry Experience.
• NETA III Certified.
• Industry Certification Programs preferred - e.g. Infrared, Corona, Oil Analysis, Manufacturers, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead field testing, inspection and maintenance of high, medium, and low voltage electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical and control system issues using schematics and diagrams.
• Direct repair, replacement, and maintenance activities to restore equipment functionality.
• Support installation and commissioning activities with testing and system verification.
• Mentor and train junior technicians, enforcing safety and best practices.
