Electric Power Systems is seeking a Field Technician III to lead field crews performing advanced testing and maintenance on HV/MV electrical equipment. The role supports engineers and project teams during commissioning and critical field operations across North America.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in the industry, a NETA III certification, and the ability to travel. This is a safety‑sensitive position requiring a valid driver's license and background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic technology.
• 5+ Years Relevant Industry Experience required.
• NETA III Certification is required to perform field testing and maintenance.
• Industry Certification Programs preferred (Infrared, Corona, Oil Analysis, Manufacturer certs) (not mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews and manage testing, inspection, and maintenance of high, medium, and low voltage equipment.
• Interpret test results, troubleshoot complex electrical and control systems, and escalate when needed.
• Ensure safety compliance, conduct job safety briefings, and enforce PPE usage.
• Coordinate daily field activities with engineers and project managers for efficient execution.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide technical guidance to the team.
