Job summary

ECS Limited is seeking a certified Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Senior Field Technician to join our Dallas team. You will perform field tests on soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel, and prepare site reports with guidance from senior staff.

Collaborate with project managers, technicians, and clients; maintain safety standards and documentation. Opportunity for professional development and certifications through ECS programs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must have and maintain basic certifications plus 2 advanced certifications.
• OSHA 10 is a plus.
• Ability to carry 40-70 lbs multiple times daily, up to 85 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance, transportation to job sites.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and follow laws and policies.
• Strong communication skills (spoken, reading, writing).
• Excellent understanding of heavy construction safety practices.
• Ability to work with clients, peers, and supervisors.
• Proficiency with phones, tablets, and laptops.
• Strong math skills and ability to read maps and interpret plans.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Field Activities: observe, test, sample, and inspect materials on sites.
• Testing Procedures: perform routine field tests per standards.
• Data Collection: calculations, data reduction, field reports.
• Communication: daily site updates with contractors and teams.
• Training & Development: gain ECS methodology and document findings.
