Job summary

ECS Group of Companies (ECS) is seeking a certified Construction Materials Testing Senior Field Technician to join our Dallas team. You will work with experienced project management professionals to safely perform testing, sampling, and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and steel at construction sites.

You’ll develop your skills with ongoing training, participate in certification programs, and have opportunities for professional advancement within ECS’s Field

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in construction materials testing or field inspection.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must maintain current basic certifications and hold an additional 2 advanced certifications.
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
• Position requires lifting 40–70 lbs multiple times daily and up to 85 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of materials (soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, steel).
• Conduct routine field tests using industry-standard procedures and equipment.
• Collect and reduce data; document site observations and prepare field reports.
• Maintain daily communication with site contractors, technicians, and project managers; report changes.
