Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a certified Construction Materials Testing Senior Field Technician for our McKinney team. The role offers professional development and incentives as you advance your skills with experienced project management professionals on site.

Responsibilities include observing, testing, sampling, and inspecting materials such as soils, aggregates, concrete, and asphalt, while maintaining clear field reports and strong client communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Must maintain current basic level certifications and an additional 2 advanced certifications.
• OSHA 10 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Field activities: observe, test, sample, and inspect materials on construction sites.
• Perform routine field tests for soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel.
• Collect data and draft field reports documenting site observations.
• Maintain daily communication with site contractors and project managers.
• Receive training in ECS methodology and document findings precisely.
