Job summary

ECS Southeast, LLP seeks a certified Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Senior Field Technician to join our Raleigh team. The role emphasizes field testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, and related materials, with growth opportunities and ongoing training through ECS methodologies.

You will collaborate with project management professionals, perform testing per industry standards, and develop field reports documenting site observations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years related field experience.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Maintain current basic level certifications plus two advanced certs.
• OSHA 10 certification a plus.
• Must be able to lift 40–85 lbs and have a valid driver's license with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of materials on construction sites.
• Conduct routine field tests for soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel.
• Collect data, draft field reports documenting site observations.
• Maintain daily communication with site contractors, technicians, and managers.
• Receive training in ECS methodology and document findings precisely.
