Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and two advanced certifications applicable to CMT work.
• Two years of related field experience and ability to lift up to 85 lbs.
• Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record if driving ECS work.

Responsibilities

• Performs field observation, testing, sampling, and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, asphalt, structural steel, and related materials
• Executes testing activities on projects of moderate complexity with minimal supervision
• Communicates daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers
• Reports changing site conditions and additional testing needs to supervisors
• Prepares accurate and detailed daily field reports documenting site conditions and results
• Performs calculations, data reduction, and documentation tasks
• Maintains and organizes field equipment and testing materials
• Assists in resolving field-related issues and supports project execution
• Trains and mentors Technician I and Technician II staff in field procedures and documentation
• Participates in project meetings with senior staff as requested
• Performs other field and project support duties as assigned
