Job summary

Rivian seeks an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to act as a technical expert and leader for complex vehicle repairs and field operations. The role mixes service-center work with remote support, travel, and occasional plant assignments, demanding strong diagnostic skills and mentoring abilities.

You will drive continuous improvement, ensure repair quality, and oversee parts operations while documenting findings for engineering and field teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Graduation from automotive repair school or vocational program preferred.
• Minimum age 21 with valid driver's license and clean record.
• Ability to travel to regional locations or production plants as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform bumper‑to‑bumper diagnostics and complex repairs in service centers and field settings.
• Provide high‑level diagnostic guidance and remote troubleshooting.
• Coach, mentor, and train junior technicians and cross‑functional partners.
