Job summary

Rivian is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to act as a technical expert and leader in complex vehicle repairs and field operations. The role combines service-center work with remote support, on-site visits, and occasional travel to production plants to deliver advanced diagnostics and mentorship.

You will drive continuous improvement, coach junior technicians, and ensure high standards across repair workflows.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in automotive repair with bumper-to-bumper diagnostics.
• 3–8+ years on high voltage (HV) systems and HV diagnostics.
• Experience in leadership or supervisory roles.
• Proven track record in continuous improvement and process standardization.

Responsibilities

• Perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostics, complex repairs, installations, and inspections in service centers and field settings.
• Provide high-level diagnostic guidance to field teams and perform remote diagnostics where possible.
• Coach, mentor, and train junior technicians and internal partners; lead cross-functional problem-solving.
