Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician to serve as a technical expert and leader in supporting complex vehicle repairs and field operations. The role blends service center work with remote and mobile assignments, traveling to remote locations as needed.

You will drive continuous improvement, mentor junior team members, and tackle advanced diagnostic challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5 to 8+ years automotive repair experience
• 3 to 8+ years HV system experience
• Leadership or supervisory experience
• Continuous improvement and process standardization

Responsibilities

• Perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostics and complex repairs
• Provide high-level diagnostic guidance and remote support
• Coach, mentor, and train junior technicians
• Use specialized diagnostic tools to resolve faults
• Conduct road tests and drive quality improvements
• Oversee parts operations including ordering and inventory
