Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking a fully proficient senior Field Technician responsible for one or more operational compression jobs, including operation of compressor packages and gas processes. You will mentor peers, contribute to policy development, and support area management with equipment availability and planning.

The role requires advanced diagnostic skills, reliability in troubleshooting, and readiness for on-call rotations.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
5+ years related field experience preferred.
Completion of Kodiak’s SSE program, plus 3 years in an intermediate level Field Technician role.
Deep knowledge in gas processes and compressor packages (Waukesha, Ariel, Caterpillar, etc.).
Advanced Electrical Troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

Directs, coordinates, and performs job activities; acts as informal mentor and leader in the area.
Safety Expert; participates in HSE procedures and policies.
Troubleshoot complex repairs, major equipment overhauls, and operation.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
Maintain customer relationships and provide input on budgeting and planning.
Provide 24/7 coverage and participate in on-call rotations.
