Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 5+ years related experience in field/industry preferred.
• Completion of Kodiak’s SSE program plus 3 years in SSE-related role.
• Deep knowledge of gas processes and compressor motors (Waukesha, Ariel, Caterpillar).
• 5+ years total in compression, production, and equipment experience or training.
• Advanced electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of compressor packages and components.
• English reading/writing ability.

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and perform job activities per Kodiak procedures; act as a leader in the area.
• Participate in all HSE activities; serve as Safety Expert and role model.
• Troubleshoot complex repairs and major equipment overhauls.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Provide input on area staffing and budget planning.
• Communicate parts and supply needs to achieve 98%+ mechanical availability.
• Maintain units in clean, presentable condition.
• Guide and mentor Field Service Technicians; support scheduling and training.
• Provide 24/7 coverage and be available for on-call rotations.
