Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking a Field Service Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair natural gas compression equipment at customer sites. You will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure safe, efficient operation and reliable performance.

Responsibilities include diagnosing complex issues, coordinating with Supply Chain for parts, prioritizing tasks, and conducting routine inspections to keep equipment in peak condition.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of compressor maintenance or related industry experience.
• G3600/G3500 natural gas engine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair natural gas compression equipment.
• Troubleshoot complex repairs and major equipment overhauls.
• Build and maintain customer relationships.
• Communicate with Supply Chain to ensure parts availability.
• Prioritize repair work when demands compete.
• Assess repair/replacement needs and identify best solutions.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure unit health.
