Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a senior field leader to supervise site operations across multiple crews on utility-scale projects in the Houston area. You will steer safety programs, mentor supervisors, and ensure work is delivered on time and within budget.

You will manage manpower, coordinate with subcontractors, review plans, and drive adherence to quality and project controls. A strong background in heavy construction and renewable energy is required.

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent field leadership experience may be considered.
Minimum 10 years of construction experience preferred.
Minimum 5 years of superintendent or senior field leadership experience preferred.
Experience on utility-scale solar, renewable energy, heavy construction preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise site supervision and craft personnel to ensure safe, on-schedule, budget-compliant work.
Lead and support lower-tier supervisors on safety and construction procedures.
Determine labor requirements and allocate manpower to meet schedules.
Coordinate work activities and planning between crews and subcontractors.
Monitor conformance with codes, standards, drawings, and contract requirements.
Support development of construction procedures and field execution plans.
Ensure production boards and reporting tools are accurate and current.
Coordinate daily permit needs for construction activities.
