Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a field-based Electrical Superintendent to lead the electrical scope on a utility-scale project in the Midwest. You will partner with the Project Management team to ensure construction aligns with the owner's contract and project goals.

You will supervise a team of electrical superintendents, track progress, review drawings, coordinate material deliveries, and uphold rigorous safety standards with subcontractors across the site.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of NEC standards and electrical safety.
• Experience reading and aligning drawings with field installations.
• Proven ability to manage a team of electrical superintendents.
• Detail oriented with safety focus and JSA/JHA familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the team of electrical superintendents.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of electrical superintendents to maintain project schedule.
• Track progress and communicate with project team and owner through daily reports and meetings.
• Review drawings to ensure conformance with approved design.
• Coordinate material delivery and tracking; anticipate delays.
• Promote a strong safety culture with subcontractors on site.
• Review and sign off on permits (excavation, hot work) for safety compliance.
• Oversee installation, testing, LOTO, and energization procedures.
